MIREMCO’s Activities In Delta Set To Boost Governor Okowa’s Smart Agenda – Edijala

It was all “doxology” that was on the lips of everybody following the confirmation of second tenure of the executive chairman and members of Delta State MIREMCO, Asaba by the federal government. With this development, MJREMCO is now at high alert to bring all accruable benefits to Delta State for the much needed development of the citizens that would ramify as an added value to the Smart Agenda of the State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

Revelling the anticipated prospects from MIREMCO, the Executive Chairman, Narrister John Edijala promised wholesome implimentation of solid minerals activititiesin Delta State in tandem with the desire of the Minister, Hon. Lamilekan Adegbite.Barrister Edijala also lauded the role of Delta State Secretary to Government (SSG), Hon. Chiedu Ebie, a benevolent assessor y in the activities of MIREMCO.

Minister of Solid Mineralals To Visit Delta October 15

The minister of Solid Minerals, Hon. Lamilekan Adegbite is to pay an official visit to the Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa in Delta State on October 15, 2020.

The visit  is not likely to be unconnected with the ,minister’s drive to promote solid minerals activities in Delta State side by side with the activities of the Minerals and Environmental Management Committee (MIREMCO) in the state.

  • Prospective candidates are required to have a minimum of Five ( 5 ) relevant passes at credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination ( SSCE ) conducted by the West African Examinations Council WAEC/NECO/NABTEB in not more than two sittings.

Visit www.fedponam.edu.ng click on the Student Portal Menu on the left navigation panel and click on Apply for Admission, -> Start Application and fill all requirement, click submit button to process payment via master card, visa card, pos etc. To make payment using your generated RRR return to Student Portal and click Re-print RRR to print your personalized payment invoice (RRR) and go to any commercial bank branch nation wide to make your payment.
  2. After making the payment, return to the website www.fedponam.edu.ng click on Student Portal and click Continue Application enter your RRR Number, Email Address/Phone Number that you have used, to validate your payment. After which you can create your User Name and password. To complete your application form, fill in the personal data form, qualification, course selection etc.
  3. Review your forms to ensure accuracy of all the Information you have provided. Click on Submit to complete the application process.
  4. Print your Acknowledgement Card and Admission Form.
  5. When admission has been approved you will be notified through SMS or email address you provided, to check your admission status through your account.
  6. Visit the web site www.fedponam.edu.ng and print your provisional offer of admission. Click Student Registration from the Student Portal to continue with your registration after making Registration Payment.

Kogi State Government has ordered the reopening of primary, secondary and tertiary schools on September 14, 2020.

Kogi Government Fixes September 14 for Resumption of Schools

The State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mr Wemi Jones who made the announcement in Lokoja on Tuesday, said the State Government arrived at decision after series of interaction with the relevant stakeholders and assessment of both private and public schools in the state to ascertain their level of preparedness and safety for reopening of schools from COVID-19 break.

Mr Jones noted that the “ministry will review the state’s academic calendar accordingly, to reflect on the new development. The details will be worked out and released to the relevant stakeholders in due course before resumption.”

“However, we encourage that all relevant education stakeholders like ANCOPSS, ASSUS, SUBEB, NAPPS, heads of tertiary institutions in Kogi State, NUT, STETSCOM, and every other stakeholder are very free to liaise with us at the ministry for further clarification.”

”We are equally informing the general public, parents, guardians, and schools heads that we are very particular about the health and safety of our learners in Kogi State.

”So, the state government will not stop at anything to ensure that our learners are kept in good condition as far as the Covid-19 pandemic and indeed other diseases or health issues are concerned.”
